COMMERCIAL YACHT REGISTRATION UNDER THE FLAG OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Requirements for registration of commercial yachts up to 500 GT:

  • Application for Registration
  • Minimum Safe Manning Application
  • Copy of legalized and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or copy of Purchase Contract or Builder’s Certificate
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969
  • Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the
  • Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts (if Public Correspondence is requested)
  • Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability & Crew)
  • Payment of registration and annual fees
  • Confirmation from authorized organization that MLC Inspection is being carried out
  • Report of Inspection for Pleasure Yacht engaged in Commercial Trade and copies of applicable statutory certificates
  • LRIT Conformance Test Report (All yachts 300 GT and over)
  • Officers’ STCW 95 or MCA Certificates must be endorsed by the Flag State.
  • FOR ALL SEAFARERS: APPLICATION FOR SEAMAN’S BOOK, IF THEY ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF SAME.

 

Requirements for registration of a commercial yacht of 500 GT and over:

  • Application for Registration
  • Minimum Safe Manning Application
  • Copy of legalized and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or copy of Purchase Contract or Builder’s Certificate
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969
  • Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts if Public Correspondence is requested
  • Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability & Crew)
  • Payment of registration and annual fees
  • Confirmation from the Classification Society that the Class will be retained without recommendation and that Statutory Certificates will be issued on behalf of this Administration (LY2 or SOLAS)
  • Confirmation from authorized organization that interim SMC, ISSC and MLC are being issued
  • Copies of ISM Document of Compliance and Declaration of Company International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code (when applicable):
  • LRIT Conformance Test Report (when applicable)
  • Company Security Officer (CSO) and Designated Person Ashore (DPA) Declarations (when applicable)
  • Application for Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR) and copies of all previously issued CSRs (when applicable)
  • Application for the issue of DMLC Part I (when applicable)
  • Officers’ Certificates must be endorsed by the Flag State.
  • FOR ALL SEAFARERS: APPLICATION FOR SEAMAN’S BOOK, IF THEY ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF SAME.

Please note that documents must be in English or accompanied by an appropriate translation to English.
