ABOUT MOLDOVA
Moldova, officially the Republic of Moldova (Romanian: Republica Moldova), is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south.
The capital city is Chișinău. Official language is Romanian.
The Republic of Moldova belongs to the group of countries located in the Black Sea Basin. It maintains close mutually advantageous commercial ties with these countries as well as the countries located in the Danube Basin. The southern border of the country extends almost as far as the Black Sea, which can be accessed through the Nistru Liman and the Danube River.
Tourism focuses on the country's natural landscapes and its history. The country has a well-established wine industry.Wine tours are offered to tourists across the country. Vineyards/cellars include Cricova, Purcari, Ciumai, Romanești, Cojușna, Mileștii Mici.
MARITIME ADMINISTRATION OF REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA
On 30th of September 1999, the Parliament of Moldova adopted by Law no. 599-XIV the Maritime Commercial Code of the Republic of Moldova. On 30th of July 2007, the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through its Decision no. 855, approved rules for the registration of ships in Moldova.
Accordingly to Government Decision no. 855 from 30.07.2007 regarding the approval of the Rules for Registration of Maritime Ships in the Republic of Moldova, art.16) If the shipowner is not a resident of the Republic of Moldova, he must ensure, before the ship enters the ship register, the presence of the shipowner's representative.
OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE IN UKRAINE
Our Company is a Representative of Maritime Administration of Moldova in Ukraine.
The Company is fully authorized to issue all registration documentation regarding to yacht and ship registration under Moldova flag as well as concerning to necessary documents for crew members in accordance with STCW 78/95 with Manila amendments and specializes in ship and yacht registration, marine surveys, casualty investigations on behalf of for Flag State, insurance companies and recognized classification societies.
