REQUIREMENTS FOR PROVISIONAL SHIP REGISTRATION UNDER THE FLAG OF COOK ISLANDS
- Application form for vessel registration
- Bill of Sale or Builder’s Certificate (for a new vessel) with a notarized signature of the seller or with an apostille
- Application form for registering a Foreign Company or establishing an International Company in the Cook Islands
- Written confirmation from the Classification Society on the acceptance of the vessel under supervision
- Copies of all certificates of the vessel issued under the current flag and class
- A copy of the Certificate of Shareholders of the Owner's Company
- Copies of the Power of Attorney for a representative of the Owning Company or information on the Directors and Secretaries of the Company
- Copies of the application forms of the ship's crew officers for obtaining confirmations to the Diplomas
REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMANENT SHIP REGISTRATION UNDER THE FLAG OF COOK ISLANDS
- Original application form of vessel registration
- Copy of the Certificate of Registration of a new International Company in the Cook Islands or certificates of registration of an existing Foreign Company registered in the Cook Islands
- The original of the Bill of Sale or Builder’s Certificate, notarized or apostilled
- Original or notarized copy of the Certificate of Deletion from the Register of the previous flag
- Copy of the Classification Certificate issued by the Classification Society on behalf of the Cook Islands
- Copy of Insurance Certificate including crew insurance
- Confirmation from the radio accounting organization that it will carry out calculations for this vessel
- Original or notarized copy of the Certificate of Shareholders of the Owner's Company
- Original or notarized copy of the Power of Attorney for the representative of the Owning Company or information about the Directors and Secretaries of the Company
- Original or notarized copy of the last CSR from the previous flag
- Original or notarized copy of the LRIT test
- Copies of all Temporary or Permanent confirmations to the Diplomas of officers of the vessel
