International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize (IMMARBE) has issued new Self-Inspection Checklist TDL-018r3 which must be completed and sent along with a crew list to the following e-mail: inspections@immarbe.com by the 5th day of each month for vessels operating in the Tokyo MoU. All other vessels operating outside the Tokyo MOU are to submit their SIC by the 15th day of each month.

In addition to completing the self-assessment, all Belize Flag vessels are required to submit to inspections@immarbe.com the following:

1. A full photo report (Hull, Main Deck, Mooring Stations, Cargo Spaces, Navigational Bridge, Accommodations, Engine Room, Machinery Spaces, etc.) must be submitted on quarterly basis (January, April, July, and October). At least two photos per area with the date inserted in each photo.
2. Any deficiency found should be supported by a photo or any other type of evidence.
3. Seafarers’ Employment Agreements are to be submitted on a quarterly basis (January, April, July, October).
