PLEASURE YACHT REGISTRATION UNDER THE FLAG OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

Requirements for registration of a pleasure yacht of 500 GT and over:

  • Application for Registration
  • Declaration of Non-Commercial use
  • Minimum Safe Manning Application
  • Copy of legalized and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or Builder’s Certificate
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969
  • Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts
  • Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability & Crew)
  • Payment of the relevant fees
  • Classification Society to confirm that the vessel is in class and will be retained without recommendation
  • Report of Inspection for pleasure yacht (issued by an authorized surveyor or Recognized Organization)
  • MARPOL compliance I.O.P.P. Certificate, I.A.P.P. Certificate including E.I.A.P.P. Certificate (required for any engine installed after 1st January 2000 with output power of more than 130 kW) , I.E.E. Certificate and I.S.P.P. Certificate
  • a Statement of Compliance with the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Antifouling Systems on Ships
  • FOR MASTERS AND OFFICERS: APPLICATION FOR THE ISSUE OF THE STCW 78, (AS AMENDED), ENDORSEMENT OR THE DOCUMENT OF RECOGNITION IF THEY ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF THESE DOCUMENTS.

 

Requirements for registration of a pleasure yachts up to 500 GT with no charter allowance

  • Application for Registration
  • Copy of legalized and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or Builder’s Certificate
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969
  • Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts
  • Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability & Crew)
  • Payment of the relevant fees
  • Report of Inspection for pleasure yachts (issued by an authorized surveyor or Recognized Organization)
  • Yachts of 400 GT and over: I.O.P.P. Certificate, I.A.P.P. Certificate and I.E.E. Certificate E.I.A.P.P. Certificate (required for any engine installed after 1st January 2000 with output power of more than 130 kW);
  • I.S.P.P. Certificate (Yachts of 400 GT and over and Yachts of less than 400 GT which are certified to carry more than 15 persons)
  • Yachts of 400 GT and over: a Statement of Compliance with the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Antifouling Systems on Ships
  • Yachts of less than 400 GT but greater than 24 m: Declaration on Anti-Fouling System signed by the Owner or the Owner’s authorized agent accompanied by appropriate documentation.

 

Requirements for registration of a pleasure yachts up to 500 GT with limited charter allowance

  • Application for Registration
  • Minimum Safe Manning Application (for yachts of 24m and over)
  • Copy of legalized and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or Builder’s Certificate
  • Good Standing Certificate
  • Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate
  • Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969
  • Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts
  • Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability & Crew)
  • Payment of the relevant fees
  • Report of Inspection in accordance with Circular YAT 005 (issued by an authorized surveyor or Recognized Organization)
  • Yachts of 400 GT and over: I.O.P.P. Certificate, I.A.P.P. Certificate and I.E.E. Certificate
  • E.I.A.P.P. Certificate (required for any engine installed after 1st January 2000 with output power of more than 130 kW)
